Highlights
Designed for Horizons Graland summer staff, this guide gave camp counselors practical tools to support students during free swim sessions. I developed a framework that provided clear safety guidelines, activity suggestions, and student engagement strategies so counselors could confidently manage pool time. The guide was approachable and easy to reference, ensuring that counselors had a resource that combined structure with flexibility while keeping student experience and safety at the center.
Working with Swimming Simply, I developed educational resources for a pre-competitive swim program called “Swim Squad.” I created the program’s instructional framework, outlining a progression of skills and class structure that prepared young swimmers for competitive environments while maintaining an encouraging, student-centered feel. To support student growth, I also designed a SMART Goal worksheet that gave swimmers ownership of their progress, teaching them to set measurable goals and reflect on achievements in a tangible, age-appropriate way.
